On the ECHR's official page for applicants https://www.echr.coe.int/apply-to-the-court there is a message inviting people who disagree with the Lebedeva strike-out decision (49120/07) to inform the Court accordingly (using, if eComms and post are unavailable, a miscrosoft frm…):
"In view of the context following the Russian Federation’s cessation of membership of the Council of Europe, applicants whose applications were struck out of the Court’s list of cases under Article 37 § 1 (c) of the Convention by the Lebedeva and Others v. Russia decision (application no. 49120/07 and 878 other applications, 7 July 2026) and who wish to seek their restoration to the list in accordance with Article 37 § 2 of the Convention (see paragraphs 52 and 53 of the decision) but are unable to use the eComms electronic communication system or the postal service, may communicate with the Court using the following form. All requests will be examined in accordance with the applicable procedure, and the persons concerned will be individually informed of the action taken on their request by the appropriate judicial formations."
If you're one of 879 applicants and do not disagree, then it's certain that it's over. If you disagree - it does not mean that the Court will eventually reconsider its decision and examine the case(s).
However, if no applicants ask to restore their cases, this might be used to say: look, even the applicants themselves are not against the strike-out. Loss of interest. So, if you're one of the 879 or represent one, you might consider requesting to restore your case.
